Gym one-on-one with Jessica
For some, the hardest part of going to the gym is feeling like ‘the new guy’ or simply not knowing what to do once you get there. Maybe you’re new to fitness or the doc has given you the orders to start focusing on your health. Whatever your reason to be interested in starting at the gym, you’ve came to the right place if you’re looking for some help to get started.
Learn what to do at the gym, feel more comfortable with the equipment and how to execute exercises safely and effectively, have your own program so that when you come you can get in and out and feel like you really nailed it.
It’s a lot like personal training, at a fraction of the cost!
I prefer we spend a minimum of four sessions together within a months time (one per week). Lets do this together for $25/session. At the end you’ll feel confident on the equipment, know the main safety cues for exercises and hopefully already see some results!

Originally from Carstairs I have a huge place in my heart for this little town and all the people in it! I genuinely care about you and your health and I want to help you achieve your health goals by being your motivator in class! I grew up playing school sports, after graduating I attended university and college level courses for Kinesiology (science of the body) and Personal Training. I am a Certified Group Fitness Instructor through the Alberta Fitness Leadership Certificate Association where I specialized in Portable Equipment and Choreography, as well as a certified PiYo Instructor, having taken my training in Nashville directly with some of the co-creators of PiYo Live, most recent Senior Fitness. As the owner of Uptown Gym I am excited to bring you my classes as well as offer a variety of other great classes during various times throughout the day.
